The Basket of Apples – As basket of peaches was known for being the first of the posthumously published limited edition, so this one had been elected to not stamp any unsigned limited edition.
Located on the terrace of the Abbey of Charlemagne at Brantome along the river Dronne in the Perigord region of France, still a popular tourist spot, you can find this exact scene.
The attractive little town with its picturesque weir and mill which now serves more profitably, no doubt as a well-appointed hotel.
