ORIGINAL PAINTINGS

Produced by one of the finest watercolourists in the world. President of the Royal Academy and Royal Watercolour Society for many years. Many of these paintings have been exhibited in the Royal Academy. His original work is displayed in museums and private collections across the world.

The medium of red chalk and pencil is no stranger to Sir William Russell Flint, and he is able to sketch incredibly fine and sensitive drawings that give the appearance of needing little effort.

These were personally signed by Russell Flint, Published between 1924 and 1969, and stamped by The Fine Art Trade Guild.

Almost a record of time as not only the models clothing changes throughout the years, his painting style becomes very subtle in ways that are not easily noticed at first glance.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

These have been published after his death in 1969 and have remained highly collectable items.

His most sought after subjects were in the early years his nude portraits of Cecilia and other models,

but these days his rural countryside landscapes, particularly those of France have become highly prized investments.

In our studio we have over five hundred limited edition prints, personally signed and unsigned editions after his death; A wonderful collection original watercolour paintings and drawings, are also for sale.The prints, especially the signed, limited edition prints (signed personally) were in enormous demand at the date of publication, the complete edition would often be sold-out within on the day of publication.Unlike books, a ‘second’ edition of these prints is never produced, and apart from the original painting these prints are the only original hand signed, limited editions that have over the years become very collectable and sought after artworks, some of which are almost one hundred years old.
