Confidential Exchanges, two studies of Cecilia Green, cleverly painted as two different individuals exchanging gossip of utmost importance.
The beautiful subtle shades of white and grey give a silky texture to the dresses, and a splash of blue in the form of a cushion finishes this painting well.
This limited edition print was published by the Adam Collection in 1977.
It was not personally signed, as the artist died in 1969.
In the same year, and by the same publishers, a similar limited edition was released , ‘Sonnet XXIV’
