Waves, the location of this painting is Parame on the Cherbourg peninsular, known as the Emerald Coast.
The model in the painting is Miss Ray Fuller.
A particularly difficult subject to paint; water is notoriously difficult to work in watercolour.
Needless to say, Russell Flint’s painting of this scene gives the impression of effortless professionalism.
Waves has always remained a sought after signed limited edition print, with the delicate splashes of blue and emerald.
